How to Calculate VAT
Adding VAT: Multiply your amount by the rate (e.g., 1.16 for 16%). This gives you the Gross Price.
Removing VAT: Divide the Gross Price by the rate (e.g., divide by 1.16). This gives you the original Pre-Tax Price.
Default rate is set to 16% (Kenya Standard VAT), but you can change it to 20% (UK) or any other rate above.
